Marc acquired robust software and telecom industry expertise as founder and CEO of software and telecom businesses which he successfully sold to strategic as well as private equity players. For his sector intelligence and know-how, Marc holds different board positions at software companies and ICT service providers.

Track record

Prior to founding MC Capital Partners, Marc was founder and CEO of Smart Communications, a telecom company which he sold to a Nasdaq company. Marc also co-founded Yuki, an accounting and administration software platform, which he sold to a top tier private equity firm.

Marc has a deep track record of successfully founding new companies. Today, software companies and entrepreneurs consult Marc for his market insights and exceptional leadership abilities.

Hans is Partner at MC Capital Partners. He has built substantial expertise within the digital publishing, e-commerce and software industry.

Sector knowledge

Hans gained in depth sector knowledge as CEO and director of several digital publishing and software companies. He launched multiple software products and digital platforms and he sold businesses to strategic players as well as private equity firms. Currently Hans holds several board positions at private equity and software companies.

Track record

Hans started his career at Price Waterhouse as an American CPA. Before joining MC Capital Partners, Hans was active as an entrepreneur and co-owner of Intersentia and Winbooks. He sold Intersentia, a publishing and software company, to a French Publishing Group. Winbooks, an accounting software company was sold to Exact/KKR. He also managed and advised several companies in their strategic and/or ownership transition.

Skills

Hans has a strong financial background as a former CPA. He is experienced in growing software businesses and managing landmark transitions.

Jan is secretary General of the BVA (Belgian Venture Caoital and Private Equity Association). From 2013 until 2022, Jan was head of fund investments at PMV, where he was responsible for an extensive fund portfolio covering venture capital, growth and buy-out funds. Before PMV, Jan worked as legal counsel at KBC Private Equity (2001-2013) and KBC Bank (1995-2001). He started his career at DLA Piper in 1993.

Jan holds a master’s degree in Law from KU Leuven.

As a former lawyer at Eubelius, Wim is now partner and tax lawyer at B&R, a niche  tax advisory firm for international and Belgian entrepreneurs. Wim has in-depth knowledge of the legal and tax regulations involved with private equity and wealth management. Wim shares his experience with MC Capital Partners, ensuring an optimised fund structure and compliance with Belgian and international tax regulations.

Rudy was chief economist at the European commission and is currently professor corporate finance at the universities of Ghent, Nancy (France) and BMI (a joint venture between HEC Paris and LSM). Prior to this, Rudy held several leadership positions in the Commission on Entrepreneurship, Science and Innovation.  Rudy brings a wealth of knowledge to MC Capital Partners, having always focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and finance throughout his whole career.
